Waking Dreams
“It is the window of time between sleep and full consciousness. It is when I realized that there’s something sacred and healing in the Self and that creativity can release its power…perhaps this power is our deepest connection to God and our souls and all that we, in our busy and conscious lives, are not still enough to hear or feel.
It is for some, a creativity…expressed by music, sculpture, painting, photography, gardening, cooking, writing, theater or dance.
It is a call to the true Self, to a path of growth…that feels full and life-giving like the best of friendships and the greatest of loves.
It is the sparkle of the soul we feel in church or temple in the midst of our world’s natural beauty…the beach, the mountain tops, and forests…the smiles of great faces…the giggles of children.
It is within each of us – buried, in some, amidst roles and agendas and brilliant in others who have been graced with great intuition or forced by disease or crisis to hear the whispers of the waking dreams….

Good morning Dancing Doc.
I have been blog reading this morn. when I came across you on on Willowmanor.
The yellow that jumped in my face on your blog, held me captive to read on...I can see my self in a few of the pictures, eg: yellow and white over hang in Paris.
Yellow is my all time favorite color, the happy color.I enjoyed my visit.
hi there gracie girl,
I shall check out your blog too- thanks for stopping by- yellow is a fun and sunny color- here in France it is rather gloomy now with intermittent raining-hence home- made sunshine.
Loved this sunny yellow post! I had a print of the Fragonard
on my wall growing up. So tranquil.
Willow,
thanks for stopping by and yes,it is tranquil and inspiring! hugs from France!
I so do wish I were sitting on that terrace with a bottle of great wine and a loaf of bread. I would feel even better wearing the yellow dress and shoes! Perfection for sure!
WOuld love to sit on that balcony!
